The Mill Valley Music Festival is located at the Mill Valley Community Center, 180 Camino Alto Way, Mill Valley. This festival is dedicated to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for everyone. As such, we are committed to enhancing our accessibility measures to ensure that all festival-goers can enjoy the event to the greatest extent. We value and appreciate all feedback and suggestions from our patrons regarding our accessibility services. Please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any accessibility-related questions or needs. We will make every effort to assist you in having an exceptional experience at the Mill Valley Music Festival.
Access Help Center: The Box Office, located just inside the main entrance (of the Mill Valley Community Center), is your go-to location for any accessibility-related inquiries. Here, we can assist with directions, support, recharging wheelchair batteries and other assistive technology, as well as provide no-cost equipment storage for your convenience.
Parking: The Mill Valley Music Festival has a limited amount of ADA Parking available on site at the Mill Valley Community Center. To park in this lot, you will need to purchase a Mill Valley Music Festival ADA Parking Pass and bring your valid ADA parking permit, placard, or plate.
Restrooms: Accessible restrooms (ADA Compliant Porta-potties) will be located throughout the festival and can be found at all restroom banks. To locate these facilities, maps will be available throughout the venue.
Concessions: Concessions will also be fully accessible and spread throughout the venue. Festival staff will be available to assist if needed. For those with special dietary needs, gluten-free options will be available among the festival food vendors.
Viewing Areas: As with last year, viewing areas will be provided for those patrons who comply with the ADA. Persons with disabilities who use mobility devices like wheelchairs and/or scooters, will have the use of wheelchair accessible seating. That seating will also include chairs for either those acting as caregivers / attendants or family members who are at the venue with a person with a disability.
ASL Interpreter: If you require effective communication in the form of an ASL Interpreter or closed captioning, please contact us at email@example.com -
NOTE: Requests must be made no later than 14 business days before the start of the event to allow for sufficient processing time. All requests received after this time will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Wheelchair Access: The Mill Valley Recreation Center is a city-owned fully-complaint recreation center, completely accessible and designed to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or motorized scooters, with accessible pathways and routes available throughout the grounds. We encourage all guests to utilize their personal forms of transportation, including wheelchairs and scooters. Unfortunately, personal golf carts are not permitted on the premises. Please remember to bring all necessary cords and accessories to charge your devices, and note that chargers must use a standard 20 amp circuit. Please note that we do not provide personal assistance or mobility device rentals.
Service Animals: Individuals with disabilities are welcome to bring their service animals to the Mill Valley Music Festival. However, pets, emotional support animals, therapy animals, and companion animals are not permitted. Only service animals that have been individually trained and are under the proper care of their owners will be allowed on the premises. Service animals must remain by the handler’s side at all times, and be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the handler's disability prevents the use of these devices. Service animals must be housebroken and should use the service animal relief area. Handlers are responsible for any damage or injury caused by the animal
